Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all consultation and report services purchased through the AstroTherapy website (astrotherapy.com) or by direct booking with Shweta Naisar Kothari, sole proprietor of AstroTherapy (GSTIN: 27BBEPC0300H1ZH).

We aim to be fair and transparent. Please read this policy carefully before making a payment.


2. Consultation Services — Refund Eligibility

2.1 Full Refund (100%)

You are entitled to a full refund if:

  • You cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled consultation time.
  • AstroTherapy cancels or reschedules the session for any reason and you do not wish to accept the rescheduled time.
  • Technical failure on our end prevents the session from being conducted (e.g., video conferencing platform failure attributable to AstroTherapy), and a rescheduled session is not acceptable to you.

2.2 No Refund

No refund will be issued if:

  • You cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation time. (You may, however, request a one-time reschedule — see our Cancellation Policy for details.)
  • You fail to attend ("no-show") a confirmed consultation for the second or subsequent time. (Your first no-show entitles you to one complimentary reschedule — see Section 3.)
  • The session has been completed. Once a consultation has been delivered in full, no refund is available.
  • You are dissatisfied with the content of the consultation. Astrology and numerology are interpretive disciplines; disagreement with the guidance provided does not constitute grounds for a refund.

2.3 Partial Refund / Case-by-Case

If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled session, AstroTherapy may, at its sole discretion, offer:

  • A credit toward a future consultation of equal or lesser value, OR
  • A partial refund of up to 50% of the consultation fee

This is not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.


3. No-Show Policy

First no-showOne complimentary reschedule. You must contact us within 48 hours of the missed session. Rescheduled session must occur within 30 days of the original booking.
Second or subsequent no-showFull consultation fee is forfeited. No refund, no reschedule.

A "no-show" means you did not join the scheduled consultation session and did not provide at least 24 hours' prior notice of cancellation or rescheduling.


4. Refund Process

4.1 How to Request a Refund

Send your refund request to:

Include the following in your request:

  • Your full name (as used at booking)
  • Booking date and consultation type
  • Reason for refund request
  • Preferred refund method (original payment method or bank transfer)

4.2 Processing Timeline

4.3 Refund Method

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. If that is not feasible (e.g., expired card), we will coordinate an alternative method with you.


5. Non-Refundable Circumstances

To summarise, the following are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances:

  • Completed consultation sessions
  • Second or subsequent no-shows
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled session (subject to the case-by-case window in §2.3)
  • Dissatisfaction with the interpretive content of a consultation

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you believe a charge is unauthorised or incorrect, please contact us at grievance@astrotherapy.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving disputes directly and promptly.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting AstroTherapy may result in suspension of your account and future bookings pending resolution.
