1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website astrotherapy.com ("Website") and the consultation and report services ("Services") provided by Shweta Naisar Kothari, sole proprietor of the trade name AstroTherapy (GSTIN: 27BBEPC0300H1ZH).

By accessing the Website or booking any Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or book any Service.
2. About AstroTherapy
AstroTherapy was registered as a business in 2023; Dr. Shweta Kothari (legal name: Shweta Naisar Kothari) has been practising astrology and numerology professionally for 7+ years. All consultations are personally conducted by Dr. Shweta Kothari.
2.1 Consultation Services
Live, one-on-one sessions conducted via Google Meet (with the session link delivered by email), available in English and Hindi, covering:
- Astrology consultations
- Numerology consultations
AstroTherapy does not offer Vastu, Tarot, Lal Kitab, or Palmistry services. Written report products (e.g., Baby Name Report, Business Name Report) are not currently offered.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to book a consultation or purchase a report directly. Consultations relating to a minor (e.g., a child's birth chart) must be booked by a parent or legal guardian, who must be present during the session.
4. Booking and Payment
4.1 Booking Process
All consultations are booked through the Website or by contacting us directly. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
4.2 Payment
Payments are processed through CCAvenue (via AU Small Finance Bank). All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST (18% on consultation services, SAC Code 998399).
4.3 Payment Security
We do not store your credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI credentials. All payment data is handled directly by our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway partners.
5. Service Delivery
5.1 Consultation Sessions
Each consultation session includes:
- A live session conducted via Google Meet at the scheduled date and time
- A written consultation summary delivered to your registered email address within 5 business days of the session
The consultation summary is a concise written record of the key observations, guidance, and recommendations discussed during the session. It is not a verbatim transcript.
5.2 Session Recordings
Sessions are not recorded by default. No audio or video recording of the session is provided as part of the standard service. You may not record the session without Dr. Shweta Kothari's prior written consent.
6. Rescheduling and No-Show Policy
6.1 Rescheduling by You
You may reschedule a confirmed consultation by contacting us at least 48 hours before the scheduled session time. Rescheduling requests must be sent via email to contact@astrotherapy.com or by calling +91 90834 11411.
Rescheduled sessions must be completed within 30 days of the original booking date.
6.2 No-Show Policy
If you fail to attend a confirmed consultation without prior notice ("no-show"):
- First no-show: You are entitled to one complimentary reschedule. Contact us within 48 hours of the missed session to rebook.
- Subsequent no-shows: The consultation fee is forfeited in full. No refund or reschedule will be provided.
6.3 Rescheduling by AstroTherapy
In the rare event that Dr. Shweta Kothari is unable to conduct a session at the scheduled time due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will:
- Notify you as early as possible
- Offer a rescheduled session at a mutually convenient time, or
- Provide a full refund at your request
7. Nature of Services — Disclaimer
AstroTherapy provides astrology and numerology consultations for informational and guidance purposes only.
7.1 Not Professional Advice
Our services do not constitute and should not be treated as a substitute for:
- Medical, psychiatric, or psychological advice or treatment
- Legal advice
- Financial, investment, or tax advice
- Any other form of licensed professional counsel
7.2 No Guaranteed Outcomes
Astrology and numerology are interpretive disciplines. AstroTherapy does not guarantee specific outcomes, predictions, or results. Any guidance provided is based on Dr. Shweta Kothari's professional interpretation and should be considered as one input among many in your decision-making process.
7.3 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the decisions you make based on the guidance received during a consultation. AstroTherapy shall not be held liable for any actions you take or refrain from taking based on our services.
7.4 No Occult or Fear-Based Practices
AstroTherapy does not engage in occult practices, fear-based predictions, superstitious remedies, or any practice intended to exploit vulnerability or create dependency. If at any point you feel our communication does not meet this standard, please contact our Grievance Officer.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 AstroTherapy's IP
All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, design elements, blog articles, educational material, astrological methodologies, and report templates — is the intellectual property of Shweta Naisar Kothari / AstroTherapy and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Website content without prior written consent.
8.2 Your Session and Report Outputs
You receive a personal-use license to the consultation summary and any reports generated for you. This means:
- You may keep, print, and refer to your summary/report for personal use
- You may not republish, redistribute, resell, or publicly share the content of your consultation summary or report
- You may not attribute statements from your consultation to Dr. Shweta Kothari in any public forum without her written consent
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading identity or birth data when booking a consultation
- Record, screenshot, or distribute any part of a live consultation session without written consent
- Use the Website or Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, server, or database
- Harass, abuse, or threaten any AstroTherapy staff
Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your booking without refund.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:
- AstroTherapy's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific consultation or report giving rise to the claim.
- AstroTherapy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
- AstroTherapy shall not be liable for any delay or failure in service delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control (see Section 13, Force Majeure).
11. Account Deletion
If you wish to have your personal data deleted from our systems:
- Send an email to grievance@astrotherapy.com (the Grievance Officer handles all data-rights requests under the DPDP Act) with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
- We will acknowledge your request within 7 days
- Full erasure of your personal data from active systems will be completed within 30 days
Note: Certain data (payment records, tax invoices) must be retained for 7 years under Indian tax law and cannot be erased before that period. Such retained data will be used solely for legal compliance and will not be accessible for any other purpose.
12. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. AstroTherapy does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites. Accessing any linked site is at your own risk.
13. Force Majeure
AstroTherapy shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, internet outages, power failures, acts of terrorism, or civil disturbance.
In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and either reschedule the affected service or provide a full refund.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Amendments
AstroTherapy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by:
- Posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
- Email notification to users with active bookings or subscriptions
Your continued use of the Website or Services after the revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the changes.
